This festival is home to films that fit into the City of Brighton’s out-there creative universe. Brighton is a mecca for artists from all walks of life. It is also a state of mind, an attitude, a spirit – one that dares to be itself. Are you ready to see if your film belongs here?
Festival Director's Message

Brighton Rocks International Film Festival (BRIFF) welcomes submissions for the second year running, following our highly successful inaugural event in May 2018. Brighton Rocks is a young festival with big ambition – to become the UK’s main festival for indie and underground cinema. If your film embodies our attitudes and aspirations and fits into one or more of our categories, we want to help you get the recognition it deserves! When you submit to Brighton Rocks, we pledge that your film will be reviewed with TLC by professionals. We aim to inform you of Official Selection status within a month of each submission deadline. Finalists will be announced on 15 May and Winners on 31 May 2019. The Annual Screening Event will be held at Brighton’s Duke's @ Komedia Cinema and sister venues on 14-15 June 2019.
